Helpful Hints

When making a Credit Card Payment, verify the Booking Number to insure you are in the correct record. If you notice that you have added payment to an incorrect booking, contact Princess Cruises on the same day of the charge to reverse payment.

For online payments, Princess can only accept the credit cards of the passengers on the booking, family members with the same last name, or cross-referenced passengers. If you have been given a credit card for payment that does not meet these criteria, call Princess Cruises for instructions regarding third party credit cards. For all questions regarding the credit card policy, contact Princess Cruises.

The system will default the Autocharge function to "Yes", meaning that the same card will automatically be charged for final payment on the final payment date. Be sure to discuss this feature with your client before paying the deposit as it will save you time, and insure that the final payment will be received by the due date.

Before processing a credit card payment online, make sure that you have all of the necessary information including the correct billing address and phone number for the credit card.

BOOKING INFORMATION

Booking
This is the booking number.

Group (For North America only)

This is the group number. A group number will only show when applicable.

Status
This shows the status of the booking.

The term "Cruise Only" refers to the Cruise without tour, it does not make reference to the air status on the booking.

Departure
This is the date of departure.

First Passenger
This is the first passenger's last name.

PAYMENT HISTORY

Received
Amount received.

Balance Due
Gross balance due. This total includes commission.

Deposit
Deposit amount.

Vacation Protection (For North America only)

The cost of Princess Vacation Protection. If you are paying for Princess Vacation Protection at the time of the deposit, add this amount to the amount of the deposit. i.e. If the "Deposit: 900.00" and "Vacation Protection: 258.00" then the total charge for the initial deposit should be 1158.00.

Currency
This shows the currency in which the record was booked. The currency type cannot be changed at this point.

For North America only

I f you require the booking to have a different currency, you will have to cancel and rebook. For more information regarding currency contact Princess.

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

CREDIT CARD INFORMATION  

Information must be submitted to confirm the charge.

Final Payment Due
This is the date that final payment will be due. Note that this is the date that the same credit card will be automatically charged, if the Autocharge Final Payment field is marked "Yes."

Payment Amount
Type the amount of the payment showing both dollars and cents or pounds and pennies (additional wording to add please). i.e. $100 would be entered as 100.00 or 10000.

Card Number
Type the credit card number. There should be no spaces or dashes.

Expiration Date
Type the expiration date in MMYY format.

CID
This field indicates the Card Identification number (CID) which is a security feature on credit cards. It consists of requiring a card holder to enter the CVV2, CVC2 or CID codes in at transaction time to verify that the card is on hand.

 

Autocharge Final Payment
Use the drop down menu to select whether or not to autocharge the final payment. The default is "No" to autocharge. If yes selected reconfirm by selecting Yes again.

First Name
Type the cardholder's first name as it shows on the credit card.

Last Name
Type the cardholder's last name as it shows on the credit card.

Street
Type the cardholder's street address as it shows on the billing address for the card.

City
Type the cardholder's city as it shows on the billing address for the card.

State
Type the cardholder's two digit State code as it shows on the billing address for the card.

Zip
Type the cardholder's postal code as it shows on the billing address for the card.

Country
Type the cardholder's two digit Country Code as it shows on the billing address for the card.

Phone
Type the cardholders phone number in ########## format as it shows on the billing address for the card, with no spaces, dashes or parenthesis.

Submit Changes
Click the "SUBMIT PAYMENT" button.

Return to Booking Confirmation button
Click on the "BACK" button if you want to return to the Booking Confirmation.Be sure to click the "SUBMIT PAYMENT" buuton (Spelling mistake here) to process the charge before returning to the Booking Confirmation screen.

Change Final Payment Card
To change the card that will be automatically charged on the final payment date, click the "CHANGE FINAL PAYMENT CARD" button. You can also click this button to add credit card information to automatically charge the final payment if you initially chose "No" for that option.

Reset Form
If you need to clear the form without submitting the changes click the "RESET FORM" button.
