Choosing Destination and Ship
In most cases, you can choose either the Destination or the Ship. It is helpful to enter only one or the other to obtain more choices from the system.
Nights
You can enter the duration of the cruise in the “Nights” field. Entering the number of nights restricts the sailings that display to only sailings of that length. For example if your clients are looking for a cruise between 7 and 12 days and you enter “12” the system will show only 12-day cruises. If you choose to leave this field blank all sailings that match the destination and date will display.
Multiple Gateways
If you are making a booking for two people coming from different gateways, please call Princess Cruises for assistance.
Returning to this screen
If you return to this screen after choosing a voyage, the voyage number will automatically be filled in. If you would like to check a different sailing, you must remove the voyage number and enter the new information.
Agent Information
Travel Agent Information
Booking Agent: Displays the travel agent under whom the booking will be created.
For North America Only
This name is automatically pulled from your enrolled Member Number Profile. If the Booking Agent name is blank, then you should enroll via the Member Profile section of OneSource or you can enroll by joining the Academy. The Booking Agent name is permanently stored on the booking and cannot be changed later.
Procedures
Step 1 – Passenger Membership Number
In order to search for the best rates, it is critical to enter the correct membership number for each passenger, if applicable. Be sure to enter the entire 10-digit number, including the letter at the end. The system will reject the number if it does not match the spelling of your client’s name. If you do not know the passenger’s membership number, you can try to locate it using the search option.
Option #1: Search by Member #
Type the passenger’s Member # and click the “SEARCH” button to verify the record.
Option #2: Search by Phone Number
Type the passenger’s home phone number and click the “SEARCH” button to verify the record.
Search Results
After selecting Member #’s and returning to this screen, the information will be reflected under this heading.
Step 2 – Sailing Search
Home City
- Enter the 3-letter gateway code. To locate the 3-letter gateway code, click on the City Code Lookup link.
- This enables you to locate air pricing and the lowest regional pricing for your clients.
Air
- Select from the drop down menu.
- “YES” = Princess will book the air.
- “NO” = Air is not needed or will be booked independently.
For North America Only
*If you have selected "YES" for cruiseline air and an error message displays stating that the air flag has changed, this means that you will be able to view and select cruieline air through our Princess EZair® tool.
Princess EZair® (For North America Only)
On select voyages Princess EZair will be the only way to book cruiseline air. While creating a booking you will be able to view available air schedules by clicking on the Princess EZair button from the Pricing Detail screen. Once you have clicked the Princess EZair button the Princess EZair tool will pop-up in a separate window, and here is where you can view the available air schedules and rates for your clients. You will be allowed to select the desired air schedule and rate once the cruise booking is created and deposited.
For North America
Transfers are no longer automatically added to the booking when the booking does not include cruise line air. You can still purchase transfers if your clients have independent air, but now you must supply the air schedule before you can add the transfer to the booking
Transfers may be added to any booking with an air schedule. The schedule may be cruise line air, independent air or the indicator on the independent air screen showing the passengers are using the airport as the transfer pick-up point.
A flight to the ship must be present to add a Before Transfer. A flight from the ship must be present to add an After Transfer. Independent air will be considered if the flights are entered that arrive at the Embark port of the cruise and depart from the disembark port of the cruise. To the ship, the destination city must match the embark port. From the ship, the origin city must match the disembark port.
Once you have supplied the required air schedule details, you may purchase transfers via the "Travel Packages" section of POLAR Online.
For UK
If your passenger does not have Princess air but is interested in purchasing a transfer please call our Complete Cruise Solution Reservation team who can discuss the options with you.
It is essential to enter your passengers’ independent air information.

If Princess is booking the air, the Status field will show the type of air required for the itinerary and gateway. In most cases it will be roundtrip. This field is not updatable.
