HELPFUL HINTS  

Use this screen to cross-reference this booking with another, change dining, change bed configuration, cancel the booking, re-fare the booking, or rebook to another sailing. It is also possible to add an additional passenger provided that the stateroom can hold an additional passenger and the sailing has not reached capacity for uppers.

When changing dining, be aware that there are times when all dinner seatings may be waitlisted. It is best to check availability before changing the dining request.

BOOKING INFORMATION  

Travel Agent 
This is your POLAR Online User ID. You may change this to your actual name by over typing the data and clicking SAVE. Note: this field is limited to 8 characters.

Status 
This field will show booking status, which can be Booked, Waitlisted, Canceled, or Guaranteed.

Open Date 
This is the date the booking was made.

Cancel Date 
If the booking has been canceled, this shows the date of cancellation.

Deposit Due date 
This shows the date by which the deposit must be received by Princess.

Extend Due Date button 
If you need to extend the deposit due date, click the "EXTEND OPTION" button.

Required Deposit 
This shows the deposit amount.

Create Travel with ID 
Click the "NEW" button to add a cross-reference number to the booking. You can enter the booking numbers that you would like cross-referenced. Click the link to see the list of cross-referenced bookings

Seating Request 
Select the desired dining room and dining time from the drop down menus. These are required fields.

Dining Room:

Dining Time:

Upper Dining Room/1 st seating = 5:45pm.

Lower Dining Room/1 st seating = Open Dining 5:15pm - 9pm.

Upper Dining Room/2 nd seating = 8:00 pm.

Lower Dining Room/2 nd seating = Open Dining 5:15pm - 9pm.

Please be advised that the Prinsendam only offers one dining room. When making a booking for on this ship, please put L (Lower) as the Dining Room and then choose requested dining time. Open Dining is also available on the Prinsendam from 5:15pm - 9pm.

 

U1 - Upper Dining Room @ 5:45pm
U2 - Upper Dining Room @ 8:00 pm
L1 - Lower Dining Room @ 5:45 pm (Prinsendam Only)
L2 - Lower Dining Room @ 8:00pm (Prinsendam Only)
LO - Open Dining 5:15pm-9:00pm
UO - Open Dining 5:15pm-9:00pm (Reverts to Open Dining in the Lower Dining Room)
 

Table Size 
Select a table from the drop down menu. The choices offered are:

Bed 
Choose the desired bed configuration from the drop down menu.

When booking a guarantee it is not possible to select a bed configuration because the specific cabin is unknown. Simply leave the field blank.

In some cases the system may not accept a bed configuration either because the stateroom does not feature convertible beds or because a certain configuration is required. If the system accepts neither king, queen, nor twin, leave the field blank.

Land Bed 
This field is only used for Cruisetour bookings. Select Queen or Twin beds for the land portion of the Cruisetour.

Hotel Smoking 
Please note nearly all properties that Holland America Line uses are non-smoking. For further assistance, you may call Reservations at (800) 426-0327.

You can use this option to cancel the booking.

You can use this option to change sailing, category, or fares.

GUEST INFORMATION  

Title 
Select the correct title for the passenger. This is a required field. The title must agree with the gender.

First Name 
Type in the first name as it appears on the passenger's travel documents. This is a required field. If you have entered a Mariner number, the name will appear as it shows on their Mariner record. If this is incorrect, please remove the Mariner number and continue with the booking process. Updates to the Mariner information can be made by calling the Mariner Society at 1-800-547-9139 (M-F 8am-5pm PST) or emailing Mariner_Society@hollandamerica.com. You can also use the Holland America "Click to Chat" feature available at www.hollandamerica.com to have changes made over the internet. Chat agents are available 7 days a week from 6am to 6:30pm PST Monday - Friday & 8:30am to 3:00pm PST on the weekends. The correct first name must be entered to make the booking.

Last Name 
Type in the last name as it appears on the passenger's travel documents. This is a required field. If you have entered a Mariner number, the name will appear as it shows on their Mariner record. Suffix 
If the passenger uses a suffix (such as Jr., III, Ph. D., etc.), it can be entered here. This should be entered only if it matches the membership record. This is not a required field.

Gender 
Select the correct gender. This is a required field. The gender must agree with the title.

Age 
This field is not required for 1st and 2nd passengers. It is required for 3rd and 4th passengers. If the passengers are over age 21, you may enter the code "AD" for adult. It is acceptable to enter an approximate age if you are unsure of the exact age. You can select the age from the drop down menu.

Mariner # 
Enter the correct Mariner number for each guest, if applicable. Be sure to enter the entire 9-digit number. If you do not know the guest's mariner number, you can try to locate it using the search option (press the magnifying glass to initiate the Guest Search function). Updates to the Mariner information can be made by calling the Mariner Society at 1-800-547-9139 (M-F 8am-5pm PST) or emailing Mariner_Society@hollandamerica.com. You can also use the Holland America "Click to Chat" feature available at www.hollandamerica.com to have changes made over the internet. Chat agents are available 7 days a week from 6am to 6:30pm PST Monday - Friday & 8:30am to 3:00pm PST on the weekends.

Cancel Passenger column 
Click the "CANCEL" button next to the passenger that you would like to cancel, and then click "SAVE" button to remove the passenger from the booking.

Submit Changes button 
Be sure to click on the "SAVE" button on the bottom of the screen in order to finalize the changes to the booking.

Return to Booking Confirmation button 
Click the "BACK" button to return to the previous screen.

Reset Form button 
Click on the "RESET" button if you would like to erase all of the information you have typed on this screen and start over.
