The fares on this screen are listed in columns by passenger. The following items may be changed on this screen:
- Home City
- Air
- Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP)
Be sure to click on the "SAVE" button on the bottom of the screen in order to add the additional information to the booking.
CHANGING A CABIN NUMBER:
To change a cabin number on a reservation, type over the existing cabin number included with the deck letter/number of the open cabin in which you client wishes to be berthed in and then click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.
How To find an open cabin in Polar Online & how to replace the new cabin with the existing cabin:
1.Click on the MAIN MENU link at the top of the screen.
2.Then click on the CREATE BOOKING button, and enter the voyage information that matches the same voyage from your client’s booking.
3.Go through the booking process by selecting the same category your clients are booked in and then click through other screens to reach the CABIN SELECTION screen.
4.From the CABIN SELECTION screen, search and note the open cabin or cabins that your client would like to be berthed in.
5.Click on the MAIN MENU link at the top of the screen again and then click on the MANAGE BOOKING button, from this screen enter in your client’s booking number.
6.Go back to this screen PRICING SUMMARY after you enter your client's booking, then enter the open cabin number you found included with the deck letter/number. Click the SAVE button at the bottom of the page after the you have entered the new cabin number to complete the save.
Booking Summary
Home City
You may type a new home city code in this field. In some cases, a new home city may not be compatible with the promotion on the booking. If this is the case, call Holland America for assistance.
Air
You may select an option from the drop down menu.
- Y = Holland America will book the air.
- N = You have elected not to have Holland America book the air.
- R = You have requested that Holland America book the air, however we cannot guarantee that the air is available. If Holland America is unable to accommodate the requested air, Holland America Line will contact the Travel Agency within 3 business days.
In some cases, the promotion may require that Holland America book the air. If this is the case, call Holland America for assistance.
Secure Flight Requirements
- Secure Flight Requirements are Full Legal Name, DOB, & Gender
- Full data must be submitted during ticketing to Airline or flights are subject to cancellation or denial of boarding by airlines
- Checking the “No Middle Name” box indicates that the guests traveling do not have a middle or second name

Cancellation Protection Plan (CPP)
CPP is automatically included on each booking. You can change this by selecting an option from the drop down menu.
- Platinum = Cancellation Protection Plan Platinum.
- Standard = Cancellation Protection Plan.
- None = No Protection Plan through Holland America.
*CPP Platinum is not available to residents of Quebec or Puerto Rico. (New York as of 6/29/2021)

Cancellation Protection Plan Summary
Transfer
Round-trip transfers between the airport and the ship are automatically included on each booking. The transfers may be removed by clicking on the "BACK" button, and then clicking on the option near the top of the screen.
Passenger Pricing
Pricing is listed for each passenger.
Fare
This is the full brochure rate.
Discount
This is the amount of the discount.
Net Fare
This is the actual cruise fare (this is equal to the Fare minus the Discount).
Air
This is the air fare price based on the gateway city. The air can be removed by clicking the "BACK" button and making the change on that screen. .
This is the cost for Holland America Line’s Cancellation Protection Plan. This is an optional purchase. The plan cost is in addition to any required deposit and/or cruise payments and takes effect upon Holland America Line’s receipt of the plan cost. The plan cost is non-refundable once cancel fees begin to accrue.
Cancellation Protection Plan can be changed using the CPP drop down menu near the top of the Pricing Detail screen.

Cancellation Protection Plan Information
Fees
This shows additional taxes fees & port expenses and air taxes.
Miscellaneous
This includes any Change Fees assessed for changes to the booking after final documents have been sent, as well as other miscellaneous charges.
Future Cruise Credit
This shows any applicable Future Cruise Credits of which the passenger is entitled.
Transfers/Overnight
This shows transfer and hotel pricing. When a booking is initially made, the standard roundtrip transfers between the airport and the ship are automatically part of the booking. If the itinerary includes an operational or forced overnight, that cost is also included automatically as part of the booking.
The roundtrip transfers may be removed by selecting "No" from the drop down menu in the Transfer field near the top of the Passenger Pricing screen. This field does not apply to Cruisetour bookings.
Tour Options
This field only applies to Cruisetour bookings. It shows the standard transfers or overnights. Transfers, Tour Plus hotel packages, and modifications on the tour portion of the package are reflected. To make changes to transfers or add Tour Plus hotel packages, call Holland America.
Gross Fare
This shows the gross total cost per person reflecting all charges.
NCF
The Non-commissionable fare is included in the cruise fare. This is listed separately so that you can subtract it to calculate your commission.
Onboard Credit
This shows any applicable onboard credit.
VAT
This shows the Value Added Tax amount, when applicable.
Promotions Included
This section shows any promotions that are included in the booking. This will also reflect some group amenities, and onboard sales promotions.Commissions and Payments Due
Cancel Fee
This field displays any cancellation fees that have been assessed.
Sub-Total
This field shows the total cost for the booking, including commission.
Commissions
Standard
This shows the standard 10% commission amount, which includes 5% on Holland America Home City Air.
Override
This shows the percentage and amount of the override commission for this booking.
Bonus Commission
This shows any applicable bonus commission for this booking.
Agent Gift
This reflects the total amount for any Special Services that will be paid from commission.
VAT
This shows the Value Added Tax for this booking, if applicable.
Received
This shows the total amount that has already been paid on the booking.
Check Payment Due
This is the net amount due on the booking. This amount does not include commission and is the amount to send to Holland America if paying by agency check.
Credit Card Payment Due
This is the gross total for the booking, including commission.
If making the payment using the passenger's credit card, this is the amount to be paid.
Submit Changes
Be sure to click on the "SAVE" button on the bottom of the screen in order to add the additional information to the booking.
