Information about the voyage you have selected is at the top of the screen. It is helpful to confirm that you have the correct voyage before proceeding.
In many cases only 1 column will display. The "Best-Buy" pricing will display for each category. If your agency has group space on the selected voyage, the group pricing will display in the 2 nd column. Simply select the column that has the lower price. For questions about Group combinability and inclusion in the Group, please call Holland America.
All categories are displayed in descending order, with the category type that you requested at the top. To view other category types, click the previous or next button.
Step 1 - Fare List
The pricing will display 1 column unless your agency has group space on this voyage.
FIT Pricing - Best Fare
- The fares on this screen reflect the cruise fare for each category (if you selected "Yes" for Holland America's Home City Air the price of the air is also included in this rate).
- To see the gross total including all charges, select a category and click on "SAVE AND CONTINUE" .
- The Category heading displays the categories in descending order.
- The Status heading shows the amount of space available to book.
- The Price heading shows the double occupancy per person cruise fare (if you selected "Yes" for Holland America's Home City Air the price of the air is also included in this rate), and reflects the discount that the passenger is entitled to based on Mariner membership, gateway, voyage and booking agency.
- The Promo column shows the promotion code.
Group Pricing
- If your agency has a group on the sailing, a second column will display to show the group availability. This allows you to compare pricing between the best publicly available offers and your group rate to choose the lowest rate on the selected category.
- The Category heading displays the categories in descending order.
- The Status heading shows the amount of space available to book.
- W = Waitlist
- C = Closed
- The Price heading shows the double occupancy per person cruise fare (if you selected "Yes" for Holland America's Home City Air the price of the air is also included in this rate).
- The Upgraded Category column shows the pricing category if the agency has a category reduction (such as a group amenity or a cruise night offer, for example).
Trading Group Space
Group space that is available for trade will show a "TR#" value in the status column. This allows you to trade cabins from your allotted group space to a category outside of your group space. When you trade space, a reminder will appear on the booking confirmation screen under important notices to let you know from which category the group space was traded.
Selecting a Category
To select a category, click the radial next to the desired category. Be sure you are selecting the category under the desired fare column.
Step 2 - Change Fare Quote
Home City
Change the passenger's home city by choosing a home city code from the drop down menu.
Air
- Add air by selecting 'Yes' from the drop-down menu
- Remove air by selecting 'No' from the drop-down menu.
Gateway
The gateway is the airport that the passenger will use to get to and from the cruise. If you entered a home city that Holland America doesn't use, the gateway will default to the closest airport that Holland America uses.
Air Status
The Air Status field shows the type of air required for the itinerary and gateway. In most cases it will be roundtrip. This field is not updatable.
- R = Roundtrip
- T = One way air to the ship
- F = One way air from the ship
Berths
Change the number of passengers sailing in the cabin by selecting from the drop down menu.
Currency
When applicable, this field allows you to choose a currency from the drop-down menu. Currency must be chosen before the booking is made. It cannot be changed after the booking has been completed.
Promo Descriptions
This gives a brief description of each applicable promotion for these passengers.
Change Fares button
If you change any of the information in this section, click the "CHANGE FARES" button to enter the changes and change the promotions.
Availability Information
Important information about the sailing is listed here.
Land Availability
This field shows total availability for Cruisetours. Use this information to determine if there is still enough space available for your passengers. The number displayed reflects the number of rooms available for the Cruisetour.
Dining Availability

Upper Berths, Teens, Children and Infants
The Upper Berths, Teens, Children and Infants fields show whether this sailing is available for each of these groups. Each group is capacity controlled.
- A = available
- C = closed
Forced Overnight
If an overnight hotel stay is needed before or after the cruise this information will display in the Forced Overnight area.
